What this service is

Web MOT Check (webmotcheck.com) runs automated checks for common WCAG 2.2 AA failures on public web pages. The free check covers one page. The Accessibility Report covers up to five pages of one website and is delivered by email as an HTML file and a PDF. Findings marked best practice are improvements WCAG does not fail a page for on its own.

What it is not

Automated testing catches roughly a third of WCAG failures. A result with no findings is useful evidence, not a statement of conformance, and no report from this service is a legal certification or legal advice. Keyboard testing, screen-reader testing and human judgement are not part of this service.

Ordering the report

Payment is taken by Paddle, the merchant of record, at the price shown before you pay. The report is produced for the website that was on the results page when you paid, at the email address you gave at checkout, normally within an hour. If the site blocks automated browsers or cannot be rendered, the order is re-run and, if it still cannot be produced, refunded; see the refund policy.

Your responsibilities

You may only submit websites you own or are permitted to test. The service refuses addresses on private networks and applies a rate limit; attempts to bypass either are a breach of these terms. The checker fetches pages the way a visitor's browser does and stores no copy of them beyond the report it produces for you.

Reports and data

The report belongs to you once delivered and you may share it freely. We keep the order record (transaction id, site address, email address, result counts) for as long as is needed to deliver, support and account for the order. Personal data is handled as set out in the Ermaz privacy policy.

Liability

The service is provided as described, without a promise that every accessibility problem will be found. To the extent the law allows, Ermaz LLC is not liable for losses arising from reliance on an automated result, and its total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
